These days, every agency and brand has an in-house video production team. When these Amazon Music mini-docs were created, the idea was still fairly new. Back then, while I was ECD at M&C Saatchi LA, it was an experiment - and an expense - to set up a brand new in-house unit focused on agile, often budget-challenged, content production. But that investment paid off - it opened up an entire new pathway for optimizing agency revenue, and it allowed my creative team to grow and flex and create in ways they had not before.
